A working meeting was held between Igor Shipitsyn, Head of KABS Consulting, Grigory Strelkov, Chairman of the Regional Employers' Association OPORA SME UR, with Valery Antonenko, Deputy Director of the Udmurt Republic Development Corporation - Head of the Udmurt Republic Export Support Center, a representative of the business community, CEO of Siddham Industries (Republic of India) Sharad Bakshi, his wife and business assistant Larisa Bakshi.
We considered the proposed version of the Strategy for the development of the socio-economic development of the Udmurt Republic in the context of a new reality https://qualitylive.su/strategy_ur The issues of export of education and science of universities of the republic were discussed. The Indian side expressed interest in teaching students in higher educational institutions of Udmurtia, especially in medical specialties.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the possibility of creating and developing a twinning institution between the capital of Udmurtia, Izhevsk, and the capital of the Indian state, the capital of Uttarakhand, Dehradun, as well as issues related to the shortage of labor resources for Udmurtia enterprises. The ways of solving this issue by expanding international relations and attracting labor resources from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka are proposed. The representative of Siddham Industries, in turn, expressed readiness to assist in attracting labor from India, organizing business and cultural cooperation between the Udmurt Republic and the Republic of India.
